Don Hodel talked about this species at the PSSC meeting last Saturday. I have a whole new appreciation for this species. I wish you could buy one of your specimens but I'm in Ca :(

He said this is an under appreciated and a bit over looked. He showed us a picture of a huge forest of them and it was breathtaking. I'm pretty sure everyone in the room was taking notes. Don also said these should grow in good micro climates here in California. Don is a treasure trove of info and a super nice guy
