Apparently a botanic garden in Kiev is selling off all of their palms, figuring they won't be able to heat them this coming winter.

That's really tragic! One of no doubt many unfortunate repercussions of the current political situation.

Their site says they are compacting their collection and funds to heat part of the collection,so i assume they are keeping their prized plants and palms and mostly getting rid of more common ones or excess numbers of the same species. I sent them an email to see if i can help with rehoming, being closer, but still freight would add a good deal....
