Sunday in Brisbane

After suggesting to Kennybenjamin, Comic097 and NApalm that it would be a good idea if I visited Brisbane for a garden tour, I was very pleased when it all came together last weekend.

The tour kicked off at the Palms for Brisbane nursery (needed to dust off the credit card), then to Comic097, NApalms and Kennybenjamins gardens, and also one other "surprise" garden.

The following pics are from Comic097's garden - I will post the other pics shortly (i.e. when Google figures out how to get them off a Galaxy s5)!

Hopefully Comic097 will chime in and ID the palms, the Pinanga aesia and Areca vestiaria are pretty obvious though...

Special thanks to Ben for sorting all logistics for the tour.

Special thanks to Margaret for allowing us to look around her magnificent garden. It truly is a palm paradise, with so many different species, all grown to perfection.

Last one. The other photos I took show a serious lack of technique and talent, and are on the scrap pile.

Ben, thanks again for organising the tour, and to Paul, Stuart and Margaret for allowing me to visit their gardens.

The Ratpack visited both of these great gardens today...Margaret's garden just continues to grow and grow and get better and better...Ben's is very impressive for such a young garden and will be a treat in years to come (if he doesn't move to acreage first!).
