South Florida Palm Society Fall Show & Sale

On November 1 and 2, the South Florida Palm Society will hold its annual Fall Show & Sale featuring “The World's Largest Sale of Rare and Exotic Palms.” Each visitor may take home a free palm seedling while quantities last. Be sure to stop at the information table for advice on proper methods for growing a variety of palms. This event takes place at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables. The Garden is home to a world-class collection of palms and cycads, as well as a very popular butterfly collection. Sale hours are 9:30-4:30 both days. Free admission for Garden members. Admission for non-members: $25 for adults, $18 for age 65+, $12 for children 6-17, free for children 5 and under.
