The Palm Beach Palm & Cycad Society will hold its fall sale Oct. 11 & 12 at the Mounts Botanical Garden

In West Palm Beach at 531 N. Military Trail. The hours are 9-4 Saturday and 9-3 Sunday. There will be a guest speaker on Saturday.

Admission is free during the sale. There will be fertilizer, books,Tee shirts,and free advice.

I will be there with a large assortment of palms and many cycads that may not be available any where else.

Headed to Palm Beach right now ( being driven by another IPS member) but have to head home before the sale. Sorry to miss it.

Mounts is not a large garden, but it was largely rebuilt and rethought after damage in 2005. There's plenty of interesting plants and well designed landscapes. Last year's sale was great. I picked up a bunch of Chamaedorea palms and fertilizer.

It's looking like the weather will be good this weekend. I hope to see many of you there.I think that Paul Craft & Scott Zona are going to do

Something, a talk or something on Saturday. They also will be signing books. If you have a book and want it signed, bring it.

I am bringing several Zamia sp. that you won't find elsewhere!
