this has been just the perfect year for growing palms.

I have been at 80F + for over 100 days in a row now with near total sunshine.

and a massive heat wave is coming in Oct !

This summer was very warm especially the night time lows. Normally it would cool off into the 50's at night but many nights were in the 60's.

The only problem with all this heat is you need more water, which is in short supply all over California. I hope you get a

very wet winter this year !

I'm glad some people got some growth. It seems everything here was trying to make it as hard as possible for stuff to grow. Way too much water (for this area), weird heat spikes, strange lows, and rapid fluctuations between. At least the bananas are happy. Everything else? I suspect I'll get more and better growth under the lights this winter....

Typical Nebraska...if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes.
