I'll be in San Antonio all weekend and was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to find some Sabals or Washingtonias...I'd like to go south to Brownsville and pick up a coconut too, but I don't have the time to do that, and after last winter, who knows if they're still even there?;)

Doubt you will have any trouble finding Washingtonia...and actually last winter wasn't that bad down south, just briefly hovered at the freezing mark...you won't find any coconuts there tho, probably only a dozen or two in the whole area of any size. San Anotonio is a very palmy city, lots of washies, sabals, and CIDPs...Corpus Christi is 2 hours away and even more palmy...goodluck
