At this stage in their development, new leaves are still few and far between so forgive me for being about this excited.

This seedling is one of the two that I put in the ground.

it's been raining a lot lately so I haven't walked around the garden much but something caught my eye this morning:

That's good to hear. When nothing happens for a long time I get anxious.

I noticed that the few ones that I still have in their pots have branches that suddenly just dry up-- which is worrying. I think those need to go into the ground soon as well.

Beautiful Gene! Thanks for sharing and starting my day off right!

I haven't visited at the right time to see mine flush in Puerto Rico for more than a year and I miss them.

Mine is just sitting there as well - this gives me hope that one day I'll just be walking around the garden and have the same experience.

Mine just had a small flush about a month ago. It always seems to bring out a smile on my face.

New leaf again. This one is a seedling that's been in the ground about a year longer than the other one

The first day I noticed it
