My palm is called Hydriastele beguini, maybe it's why it looks different?

Your palm doesn't seem to be a 'Obi form', but a true beguini, how old is it?

We lost a lot of large shade trees during cyclone Ului in 2010.I also lost a lot of large palms including a 3m Verschaffeltia, the bonus is I have more room.
