Dypsis madagascariensis sp 'mahajanga'

Recommended Posts

I have an extra 400 or so D. madagascariensis 'mahajanga' seeds for sale freshly harvested from my own tree. This is a unique form that clusters and has more 'plumose' leaflets than the regular form. $10/100 includes US shipping.

I also have a bunch more Dypsis pembana seeds now ripening.

The D. madagas. 'mahajanga' are all gone now. Still plenty of D. pembana.

Thanks

I meant to add, I should have about 500 or so more D. 'mahajanga' in about 2 weeks or so when the last infructescence ripens.

The last infructescence of Dypsis madagascariensis 'mahajanga' seeds are now ripe. BTW, these take longer to sprout than the D. pembana. According to my records, last year they took a little over 4 months w/heat. $10/100 includes US shipping.

Xena, do you think you might be offering these again this summer?

I should, but not for a while. The inflorescence is just starting to come out. Also, these are not as easy to sprout as the D. pembana. The quickest germination is 4-5 months.
