This was a new species to me... saw on in our moderator's yard and had to look it up... turns out it's a native plant to Hawaii. Then I saw one along side a highway near Kona in flower... pretty neat plants. Anyone growing these outside of Hawaii? Also called Pleomele auwahiensis
