No responses yet so I'll chime in even though I didn't go and nobody I know went. A while back there was Comic-con held in Salt Lake, my brother went, saw some famous faces, said it was pretty good time. I've seen lots of stories out of the San Diego event, looks pretty fun.

Corpus Christi, TX, near salt water, zone 9b/10a! Except when it isn't and everything gets nuked.

I went in the 80's a couple times.. a few years since. But since it is a major event in itself to get tickets now, I stopped trying...

Several years back I met up with Jason Lee and blasted him in a ride around San Diego in my TVR Tuscan.. said it made his trip! But then again I was doing some unmentionable speeds thru the deserted streets...

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!
