I have some smaller palms in my garden which I have not identified yet. Nobody sells palms with tags or correctly identified in Nicaragua. And some are native one.

6. Reinhardtia gracilis, Reinhardtia simplex and another native species that grows understory (it is still quite small, its motherplant was 2 meters high)

7. Should be the same species as the third one in 6.

Nice palms you have there! I'll leave the id's up to the experts on here. Funny I was just looking at airfares to Managua a moment ago! My new favorite Central American country! Next stop the Corn Islands on the Carribean coast!

You will enjoy your visit. Corn Island is great. Not as much tourists as I expected. And still some lonely beaches. Lots of Cocos, and some few Elais and Bactris mayor.

Welcome to PalmTalk....you should have names to go with your palms soon. It is still amazing to me at the depth of knowledge that you can find on this site.

Hello there,

I can help you with some of them maybe.......

Photo #2 looks to be rhopalostylis sapida

Photo #3 Trinax sp. either radiata or parviflora?

Photo #4 Coccothirnax sp. maybe crinita?

Photo #6 your right and I always get these 2 confused but I think it is R. simplex?

Photo #7 looks to be Asterogyne sp. or Calyptrogyne sp.

All except photo #2 seem to be endemic to your corner of the globe.

Welcome to palm talk and good luck narrowing my id's down a bit.
