Hey Bill,

A much needed and long overdue road trip might be in order! I'll bring and not limited to, every know herbicide to mankind, plenty of fertilizer, my felco clippers, lots of energy, jackets/coats(?), paint, and one new American flag!

What happened to your weeds? They went to seed and are re-sprouting! :lol2:

Wow, great collection and growing taller all the time. It's nice to be able to see them. Dig a bunch of holes this weekend, plant out the rest of those puppies, you are on a roll! Keep the momentum going! (It wouldn't hurt to take Jeff up on his offer.) :winkie:

Bill - outstanding difference Mate !

I can see that the weeds have started to come back so the roundup is a great idea . after all the weeds have died a thick layer of mulch will reduce and weeding to a few hours a month !

Loved the Leppidorrachis perfectly grown ! :greenthumb:

Acanthphoenix crinita - WOW

Chambeyronia houailou is massive

I think with a good fertilizer program ( grow power plus , and apex palm special ) lots of water and a thick layer of mulch - YOU COULD end up having one of the most interesting palm collections in Southern California .

cheers Troy

Bill,

Well, that was fascinating! Must be satisfying to have made so much progress. Now you just need to get some of those palms in the ground. Especially the ones in your backyard seem desperate to be planted. 15G palms in 5G pots is not a good combo! :mrlooney: And some of your larger palms (in the ground) are really impressive! :)

Bill, before you spray make sure you have your PPE's , SDS's, and QAC in order. Wouldn't want the DPR to nail ya. On the other hand if you want some of the industrial stength Roundup Pro Max or Quick Pro just gimme a ring.
