Palms of Cuba Presentation

Please join us for an unforgettable palm tour of the island nation of Cuba on Friday, April 18th, 2014, 7pm sharp at UH-Hilo, Rm. 100. This beautiful island country is becoming increasingly accessible to US citizens and the spectacular flora and fauna found there has provided a developing opportunity for eco-tourism. Paul Craft, a Florida resident, has made many trips to this isolated nation to document it's rich palm diversity which will be shared with us during the presentation. He will also be guiding the pre and post Biennial tours at the upcoming International Palm Society gathering in Miami in May, 2014.

As co-author of, The Encyclopedia of Cultivated Palms, Paul will take time to sign your copy, so bring your books.
