Sabal uresana

tank

Recommended Posts

Sabal uresana for sale, still showing nice blue/grey coloring. Grown under a high pine canopy, so they will probably "blue" up a little if grown in full sun.

In 5/7 gal pots

$40

Will probably post a pic with better lighting when I get the chance.

Bought the seed through RPS. Started out with a very brilliant blue color. Now are a nice grey/blue. Grown under a high pine canopy at my house to provide some frost protection. These grow like most sabals for me, taking about 2 or 3 years in the ground to get their feet and then they begin to "take off". I'll provide more pictures this week.

Just make sure you have room for this beast. The one in the link below is now almost four feet in diameter at the base and the petioles are seven feet long not including the palm leaf length. Masive and impressive.

Patrick

copy and paste this link. You won't be disppointed with this palm assuming you have the room.

No,

Seed was purchased through RPS.

Not sure when S. uresana flower, but I would imagine that there is a good chance that you might get a hybrid off of that plant. Kopsic has most of the sabal species represented if I remember correctly.
