Hello !

I will spend ~10 days around Brisbane in the end of April.... and I would like to bring back some new seedlings for my collection...

If somebody knows some good address or has some rare palms for sale, please let me know :-)

Have a look at a nursery called Palms for Brisbane. Kennybenjamin from this message board works there and will show you the ropes no doubt.

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond to this. I dont usually check this section often. For mine there's two great spots. Roma street parklands which is in the city and Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens (which might be called brisbane botanic gardens or similar), which is just outside the city and at the base of brisbane's highest 'mountain', Mt Cootha. Mt Cootha has a great lookout and cafe/restaurant where you can grab some food overlooking the city which is sensational in the afternoon or evening. Roma street parklands has some maturing gardens that are still young but looking really good. Very easy to get to as it's next door to one of the main rail stations in Brisbane.
