Hello all,

Some are germinating easily, some not.

At the moment I do have 5 germinated of 10 seeds from macrozamia macdonnellii.

Regards

Mike,

Do you know anyone with an established M. macdonnelli in Florida? Wonder how this one takes our humidity (and my cold). Such a beautiful and rare plant.

There was a large plant sold last year in the Tampa

Area that looked great

The should take cold and heat well. Humidity

and fungal problems are a concern

There are large seeding plants in Thailand

(Not sure where RPS got there seeds)

I have a group of older macs that were struggling

being too dry. They were moved to a much wetter

area and they are growing like weeds

I have seen three fairly large plants in a local garden. They struggled for years until the organic mulch was replaced with decomposing granite. The last time I saw them was a few years ago, and they looked great.
