Wow great pictures!

I'm getting nostalgic for Ohio again.

How about a picture of the Luna Moth, used to be called Actias luna?

Thanks. It's been a couple years since I've seen a luna moth, and last time I did I had no camera with me. I did capture another species of giant silkworm moth with my phone camera the other day. This is the tulip tree moth. The picture's a little fuzzy around the edges because the moth was vibrating its wings.

This is just awesome!!! Not something you see everyday - thank you for sharing! Do you collect, or just photograph? Why the interest?

Thanks for appreciating. I don't collect, just photograph - and try not to affect the situation (although occasionally I'll try to coax the subject into a better position). While I work as a software architect, my degree is in Entomology, so I guess I've always had the interest. It just doesn't pay the bills. :)
