Palms iPhone/iPad App

Recommended Posts

Hi IPS members,

I'm a French software programmer, and Palms lover, I just released a Palms database available on the Web as well as a (free) iPhone app available on App store.

This App is free and Adds free, so thank you for supporting this project by rating the App.

There are already 2742 palms species referenced with more than 1000 pictures, but I'm still looking for more pictures, if you'd like to contribute to this project, please write to me at address info@palmworld.org. I'm very vigilant for pictures sources , so please send only your own pictures with the name you want to display on the credit (and the palm name of course). Thank you in advance for your support, this is a free and not commercial initiative that takes a lot of time and energy, and any help would be highly appreciated.

So the links are the followings:

The main Web site: http://www.palmworld.org

The iphone and ipad App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/palm-world/id655596196?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4

and also a beta version of the mobile web site (for none Apple mobile) : http://www.palmworld.org/android/

Thank you all,

Bertrand

Thank you guys, I appreciate your support!

And with already about 200 apps downloaded in a few days, I'm really motivated for writing a version 2 !

Thank you John,

I'll post a new message when there will be some progress on the Android App, but before I still have a lot of things to do on the database contents.

Thx

Hi,

The App on Android doesn't exists yet (so including Samsung Galaxy); the link is a Mobile Web site (still in beta) and the Android App is currently in progress. Sorry I did first the iPhone / iPad one and it is much work to do it on all mobile OS.

I'll keep you updated here in this topic when I will have done some progress.

Thanks,
