There will be a general meeting at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden on June 3rd. at 7:30pm, in the Corbin Room. Fairchild is located at 10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables, FL.

World traveler and SFPS member, Mr. Elvis Cruz will present another exciting program.

"Cuba: A Mysterious Island of Beautiful Palms"

South Florida Palm Society member Elvis Cruz recently drove 1,500 miles around Cuba, hoping to photograph endemic palms in the wild. He found a beautiful island, friendly people, bizarre economics, conflicted politics, controversial history and many gorgeous palms.
In addition to wild palms, he photographed three botanical gardens. Come see and hear his slide show at the next South Florida Palm Society meeting on Monday, June 3, 2013, 7:30 pm, at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

Elvis promises to pay the first 50 people who show up for his presentation!

Following the program there will be an auction of palms. Please donate your palms for the auction.
Refreshments will be provided. Food will be potluck. Free seeds will be available at the information table.
