I thought I would start a thread of Palm related videos I have taken, so here goes.

First up Rhopalostylis sapida, called a ‘Nikau’ Palm here in New Zealand. This is New Zealand’s only native palm, but it does vary quite a lot over its wide geographical range.

Thanks to a software change on Palmtalk rendering all the above videos as text, you will have to copy and paste the links into your browser. Maybe I will redo those one day.

Until then here is the largest Jubaea in New Zealand. It is around 150 years old.
