John, start a thread with this blog which you added here so many Ptalkers have a browse.... Ive just finished looking at the MANY incredible old pics and a few recent ones on this above site, very enjoyable. Great old shots of Pigafettas in the wild, the thousands of Clinostigma ponapense in the wild is "spectacular " as well..Many thanks for posting. Pete

Yes, thank you for posting this! It's an amazing palm "travel log" thread in a gorgeous spot of the world.

The intermixing of photos of different ages adds such a charming feel to the site. While the current photos are breathtaking in their quality and subject matter, the sephia and black & whites whisk you back to a vintage explorer feel. Only 10% of the way through so far but particularly enjoying the Fairchild's photos.

Pull up a relaxing chair, grab a tropical drink and plan to spend some time traveling thru this site.
