True Maypans are not produced anymore as far as I know. This is a man made hybrid. For your use any coconut may be ok.

A well grown coconut that is 12' Over All Height will not have any wood yet.

I have some special types if you would like to go for the unusual and more expensive.

Delivery should be no problem.

wow , I thought dwarfs had a little wood if 12' high, how tall would it have to be to have 4' of wood, thanks

If you contact David Romney in Homestead (just about the world authority on coconut growing) he or his daughter Carol, who runs the coconut operations these days, can help you. I believe they sell true Maypans to several wholesalers who might have the size you need.
