Return to "Normal" weather on the Great Plains

8 posts in this topic

Up here in Neeeeeee-braska we've had the record warmest first 3 months of the year ever on record. Parts of the state beat the highest on record March average temp by more than 3 degrees!

But tonight, we're back to the "normal" lows for this time of year, maybe a little below.

Anyway, long story short, the Palms have been out on the balcony for weeks, but tonight got down to below 40F, so I had to do this:

Huzzah, instant indoor forest!

How are all of you fairing so far this year?

We're back in it! The high yesterday was after dark because of all the heat coming North on the wind...

I grow palms down here at a High Lattitude like you 42 deg and have started bringing in some recently germinated Chameadoreas as winter won't be far away . We get below 40 F overnight every winter also !

All the best

Troy

I have to keep my eye on the weather again.

Low 90's today and tomorrow, but depending on which forecast you watch it may snow on Saturday...

Seriously, Nebraska, WTF?

Low 50s in Central Florida. My thermometer for sure will indicate into the 40s. Dry as can uncomfortably be.
