Darn Joe, Jimmy and I were just a few days too early for the sale. I guess we'll just have to stop by again next time I'm down there (towards the end of the month).

If you guys haven't popped those triples out of the ground at Jimmy's place by then I'm sure you could use my help digging :mrlooney:

To everyone else reading this... you should really stop by Discovery Island Palms and check out the plants. Joe's got good stuff at great prices.

Have you seen a mature triple Rhopalostylis, I was actually thinking of putting in a triple. I was just wondering if it would be better to plant three semi close together or plant them as a triple.

Joe,

Would you be willing to hold a 1g Hedyscepe with payment for me till possibly as late as early spring? If not, no worries. We might have some mild weather coming up where shipping would be feasible, but it gets cold fast in the arctic of Ohio. The Chamaedorea tepejilote you sold me last spring is doing great. Happy Thanksgiving!

I have never seen a mature triple but I bet it would look really nice.

I beleive one would always be better off to plant a planting of three rather than a triple from one container. They would be more spread out and have more space for them to co-exist. They would develope their roots w/ less inter-twining as well.

I have tons of big singles in 1g and 5g.

Thanks very much for the compliment Giuseppe!

I work very hard on keeping them nice. It consumes most of my time.

I need to post some pics of the yard these days.

Yes, that cross is nice looking and grows very well here in CA.

It is not touchy like most Dypsis!

Jake,

I have about 80 of them so no problem w/ putting one aside for you. Consider it done! Don't worry about payment now.

Very glad to hear that the tepejilote is doing well! I think that was the last 1g I had at the time and it wasn't my typical high quality, as I mentioned then. They are very good growing palms!

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well and to all!
