hey all,

i was wondering if anyone in so cal has blue bamboo for sale, and if so, how can i get my hands on it? everywhere i look online, it seems this plant is readily available from Florida, but not
so much in california. Please PM me if you are selling this bamboo in so cal...thanks,

Sorry, yes, Bambusa chungii is the one i'm after. so hard to find in so cal. I have some already that i ordered from florida a year and a half ago, i just wanted to get some more if i don't have to pay crazy shipping prices.

check out Pura Vida Tropicals in Vista. great place for palms AND bamboo. they'll have what you're looking for. the owner's name is bamboo bob. kinda says it all...

Pretty cheap, and shipping was no biggie, the plant that came was not very big but it was great for the price, seeing as how in my neighborhood the cheapest I could find was 150$.

Go patronize Bamboo Bob Diamata at Pura Vida Tropicals in Vista. He's a really nice guy and has a beautiful place to walk around see some really large bamboo clumps. He's got some neat edibles and tropicals too.
