Hi Troy,

Do you happen to remember how much the med insurance cost? I know it's expensive. A friend of mine and his wife were going to Denmark, and at the last minute, the wife who is a nurse, took travel insurance for both of them. Sure enough William fell down a flight of stone stairs and broke all kinds of bones. The insurance covered all of his medical expenses in Denmark, and also paid for a row of 1st class seats for a stretcher to fly him back to Los Angeles.

Dick the full cover travel /medical insurance for the both of us cost $ 350 AUD very worthwhile IMO .

Travel insurance is essential especially when travelling to the USA. I only wish I had taken pet insurance before Ralf needed $6,000 worth of veterinary care.
