What would an app do?

Just access PT through your browser.

It would shave off a few seconds when I'm trying to log on to PT. plus I'd have a cool icon on my iPhone to make people jealous that there not a member. BOOM! I think I just won that debate biggrin.gif

I would be nice to have an app that would let you upload Photos from your phone. We would see a lot more pictures here if we could run out and snap a quick pic and upload it right there.

If you want to add palm talk to your home screen just go to the website and at the bottom of your screen there is a button for bookmarks. Just click the add to home screen and it will give you a hot button to palmtalk.

Chris showed how to post pics from your iPhone. I need to get photobucket the upload you pic. There's an image code you copy and paste in your post and that's it. Works great but it wold be nice if there wash faster way

I agree that easy uploading of pics from a mobile device would be way cool. As I can tell right now, you cannot upload on the mobile version. I can switch to the full version and upload pics, but it's very cumbersome to navigate on the phone. So no app needed, just a pic upload button on the mobile version. Unless I'm missing it???? DeanO?

Matt - not up to me - that would be up to the software engineers at Invision. But it was my impression they designed the mobile version to be "bare bones" - taking every bell and whistle out so loading and viewing from mobile devices would be fast, compact, and adding minimally to your bandwidth allowance. Adding the entire uploading package might defeat that purpose. But if it's doable, I am sure at some point they will redesign it to do so.

But I don't understand how a pic upload button on the mobile version is going to be any less cumbersome than the pic upload button on the full version. You would still need to search for and find your photos, then upload.

What phone are you using?

Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.
