I think it might be a bit generous, but the colors at least make it very easy to differentiate zones.

I see it has a Zone 11 map in coastal SD county... I might agree that some areas in there are... but not as large as that...

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

Lompoc is 10B and Solvang 10A.... really? That doesn't sound right.

Muskego (Current home) is 5A while apparently my old home in Brookfield (12 mi north) is a 5B... I had it switched all along :unsure:

Whatever, it's not like it makes a difference for what I can and cannot grow according to pretty much everything in this website.

I'm in zone 10a (30-35) and i've never recorded anything lower than 36. I think its a good general map but nothing can be as specific as your own weather station :)
