Here are a few pics of our garden that will be on the tour. There is plenty more not shown.
Your garden is looking great, Mike - things have really grown! Looking forward to seeing it in person next week.

So how many PalmTalkers are attending this event? I hope the Central Floridians don't mind a South Californian joining in the festivities. I have never been to Kopsick nor to any other garden in the Tampa area so this will be very interesting for me. And of course I am always looking for some 2-3 gallon palms to take back home.
Leo
Hi Leo! You are most welcome at our meeting next week. CFPACS meetings are always open to non-members. I hope many Palmtalkers will join us. You are going to love Kopsick. I think it is the largest collection of palms in Florida north of Miami. Mike Evans' garden is great, and we will have an auction and palm sale there - many 1s and 3s to choose from to take home with you.
I look forward to meeting you next Saturday!

Thanks Bob. I have been a member of Palm Talk for many years but have not until recently been active. I am excited to see great palms and hope to pick up a few plants. I do have limitations since I have to try and see if the California Ag dept overlooks my luggage.

we have new maps, beds are now alphabatized, we've been working on signage as well and have had a delay because we have been looking into incorporating QR codes on signs. we have been waiting to get with the St Pete Parks and recreation IT department, as they are redesigning the website, and like all else it does not always move as fast as we like.
New CBC members Nate (a between budding and rabid palmateer lol) and Tom, have been doing tons of volunteer work on trimming, cleanup, stanchion repair and painting, so GKPA is looking very good. we just will not have all the new signs in time.

Garden looks great. Thanks for hosting the CFPACS meeting.
Even with a short downpour, it was a very good meeting.
We were especially impressed with the Syagrus coronata - such a beautiful specimen.
But not to say that you didn't have other spectacular plants too.
