Current Winds - San Diego

Recommended Posts

My dad found this link to a graphic of the current winds, updated every 10 minutes. We're up in Alpine right now and it's pretty darn windy with and Easterly Santa Ana wind. If you know the topography of San Diego it's interesting to link the terrain with the wind. Like you can see how the East wind comes down the San Pasqual valley in Escondido and hits the mountain by Lake Hodges and really roars. Or how the flat, low desert of Imperial Valley suddenly raises up to the mountains and it really ramps up.

I thought it was a map with directions (arrows pointing) to people's palm gardens like yours.

I was never good at reading maps...

Happy Gardening
