Since releasing my book I have continued to do research into the many places the Kentia has been used as a decorative plant since its discovery in the 1800's. I started a blog and detailed some of my research in it. You'll see pictures of Kentia Palms as table top decorations on HMS Titanic, in upscale hotels in the early 1900's, delivering Kentias by truck in California in the 1930's etc.
Also I have documented information about Kentia Palm planting, how to test for mature seed for planting and how to plant Kentia seed the way professional growers do it. The method is quite simple and can be done by anyone.
