have 4 of these seedlings about the yard with moderate protection for all of them. All died after 27F as far as I can tell. Exposed to at least 5 hours of this freeze (no frost). I have had these before seem to handle temps below 25F but only for a brief moment. Guess the prolonged freeze is what did them in.

2 foot tall plant, surrounded by a light overhead canopy
33F on thermometer but this plant is a bit more out in the open than where the guage is.
Upper leaves looking sickly and shriveling. 50% damage I'd say.
