Hey all,
My folks have a humongus staghorn (8-9 ft across) that finally snapped the 4x4 beam it was started on. (About 45 years ago). Anyway it's too big to move, so I'm happy to let folks remove chunks at least until we get it down to a managable size. They root easily. Let me know if you're interested.

I'd love to see an 8 foot staghorn fern.

I'd love to see an 8 foot staghorn fern.

I would too. Impressive. Here is one that has several different types of ferns in it. It has to be at least 400lbs. Not nearly the size of 8foot. Staghorn ferns grow quite well in the boots of palms.

Take those clumps and stick them in the boots of your palms.

I promised a picture so here goes. Need to get this thinned way down, or hire a forklift to move it..
