This has to do entirely with how you are processing your photos. And since there are dozens of different work flow pathways, and different cameras, software, and "OSes"it would be impossible for me to help. I can tell you that it has to do with the underlying photo info that a computer uses to determine how to orient a photo. Apparently the software you are using recognizes whatever "orient command" is embedded with the photo, but the forum software does not.
I would guess there are other display options that are not working on your computer as well. Try rotating the photos using another program, or moving them to a different album or whatever, and then saving. That is about all I can offer. To be of assistance you would have to supply me with much more info, like original photo orientation (landscape or portrait, camera, processing technique, software, and work flow, OS, etc.
Try a different processing path and see if that doesn't help. Or send me a photo and I'll check it out.
Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.
