Two nights of freezing temperatures .First one -3°C (26.6 F) and second 1.5°C.
Little seedlings on there 3th 4th bifid leaves. On the ground ,beneath heavy canopy ,didn´t suffer any damage.

Alt:1030m. Native palms: Queen, B. eriospatha, B. microspadix, Allagoptera leucocalyx , A.campestris, Geonoma schottiana, Trithrinax acanthocoma. Subtr. climate, some frosty nights. No dry season. August: driest month. Rain:1700mm
I am seeking for cold hardy palms!

crossing my fingers for you Alberto!
Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

crossing my fingers for you Alberto!
Here are the seedlings today. Certainly are COLD hardy at this stage. Some Heliconias I was trying outside (growing near this seedlings) where totally defoliated.

Alberto, I see elsewhere where you said you added copper sulfate... did you add while potting up or did you top dress with that?
Also, are all those from seed?

Alberto, I see elsewhere where you said you added copper sulfate... did you add while potting up or did you top dress with that?
Also, are all those from seed?

I made a solution like you use for spraying plants with copper and I drenched the soil after planted.
