we finally reach our hotel in bogor,the novotel,which was 45 kilometers from the airport,

after a 3 hour drive!

heres jes on the balcony of our room on the 4th floor.

beautiful livistona rotundifolia right at "eye level."

besides being home to the famous bogor botanical garden,bogor is known as

"rain city." every evening right before dark it starts to pour down rain for

about an hour.

Thanks. Can't wait to see the rest. Jakarta is really bad trafic wise. There is a great comunity restaurant in the centre of jakarta near the Hilton or Intercontinental Hotel. Yu go up some steps and there are many stands and you just order from any of them in this huge hall and someone will bring it to you. I also spent some time on the islands near jakarta like papa sepa where I just snorkeled all day and the beaches were completely empty. Have fun and thanks again for the pics.

hey i have spider lilys blooming all around my shop in el cajon... el cajon is just like Bali...except for the beach, warm water, beautiful landscapes, year around warm weather and so on... well we have an in-n-out burger.
