my father in law has three queens that line his drive way. they have about 8-12 feet of clear trunk. free for anyone who wants to come dig (i'll help). ill leave them up for about two week before we give them the axe...

I think that's a really nice planting! A little water and food they'd be green and holding twice as many leaves.

he wants more variety and hes just about out of room everywhere else in his yard. i thought some C. macs would look nice planted inbetween the queens but he wants them out.

That seems like a fair trade to me. If it was me I'd want to get more variety in my yard. Queens are hard to even give away. Good luck steve, i'm never doing another big palm after that Decora move!

Don't give up. These three queens could really hone your palm transplanting skills. Your back must feel better by now.That seems like a fair trade to me.
