Landsendt is a fantastic garden in Auckland, New Zealand that many of you may be aware of. Recently the founder of the gardens wrote a book about the history of the gardens and the jouneys to get the plants from habitat overseas among much else.
The book The Subtropical Garden at Landsendt - A Plant Collectors Dream is now available to purchase from a new website - www.LandsendtPublications.com.
I am told the website will soon hold many publications revolving around the gardens and property through time as well as West Auckland History. It will soon also host many fantastic photos of rare palms and cycads as well as other subtropical plants.
But for now you can check out a sample of Dick Endts book at this link: http://www.landsendt...ublications.php
If you have not seen the gardens before, why not check out this video, heaps of palms and other fantastic plants:

Cheers,
Michael.
