George Sparkman

Recommended Posts

I forgot to mention :

They need to be established in pots or boxes for some time.

I will only buy freshly dug cycads at strongly reduced prices.

I am looking for 2-3 Macrozamia macdonnellii with 6"+ caudices - preferably in Southern California.

Please send me an email with pictures & information.

Happy growing,

George Sparkman

Should be plenty to choose from.... ha ha :)

my near 2 incher is too small...

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

You are so right Bill.

I am starting to plan the landscaping at the future house site/present nursery and the biggest ones I have are 3-4 inches (in the field).

In regards to Your 2incher - try urea. :D

You are right Michael.

I have decided to go with the smaller ones I already have

because I really wanted plants approx. the same size and it seems impossible to get them larger.

Thanks for the leads people have emailed me.

George, do you sell Macrozamia Macdonellii? I've never seen it for sale here in North America.
