Went to see the in-laws in Pagosa springs Colorado recently. Was lucky enough to see the Fall seasonal change in the trees as well as the first snow. They live in a remote and rural area in the mountains at around 7000' elevation. This is part of the view from their porch!

Now there aren't many palms in CO but I DID find something palmy.....stay tuned to see.

It's nice to see seasons change in the country where trees like aspens flare their color.

At this point I accidental hit a dial on our SLR camera and all the photos from here are over exposed. A klutzy mistake but the pics are not too ruined to show.

Beutiful pics Vince! Love the fall season. The only color change here is sunburned palm fronds and treeferns from the heat blast recently!

Yes Vince, you truly have some stunning shots here!
Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

Thanks everyone. It was nice to get out on the road again. The guys guys I was surfing with this morning were talking about all the times and areas of Costa Rica they have experienced. Think it's time I went there for a change!

Thanks for the trip Vince. Reminds me of home in Montana. BTW I have seen these same palms growing there. And, they seem to go right through the winter with no damage. I love the smell of the mountains where the aspens grow.
