Perhaps this has been posted here already, but as I am relocating over the pond here soon, I was curious what the palm scene was like over in Europe:

Annika, I belong even though I live in FL. Great site and people who stay true to palms and other tropicals. Members are most gracious, so you should find yourself welcome. If you speak German, there is/are German palm(s) site but I don't know their names.

I thought the site looked great and extensive as well and I am curious as to what they are in fact growing as well! I look forward to it. I know a bit of German but will learn more, so das ist good ya

Annika, I am also a member, but don't post as often as Meg does these days. The forum is led by a group of UK growers, with regular contributions from members worldwide, including the Ukraine, New Zealand, Croatia, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Portugal, Scandanavia - it's the best place to discuss cold hardy palms, for sure.
