Recommended Posts

My wife gave me the green light for a shopping spree at Jungle Music last weekend, picked up everything I was looking for and a few others.  See if anyone can correctly ID them although I sure some will be pretty easy

#4 Carpoxylon

#6 Ptychosperma sp. 'Wotoboho'

tikitiki,

I wish it was wotoboho, beautiful new read leaf, not sure how it would take my climate.  #6 is a Ptychosperma species that has both solitary and clumping forms at least from what little info I was able to read.  Mine however seems to be the clumping form as there are new ones starting to form.

5 looks like a double planted P. elegans, especially the immature leaves.

Right again Shon, #6 is P cuneatum

bingo Jason #5 is a double P elegans

I've enjoyed some of the ID chalenges even though generaly my guesses are way off, but I'm learning, so I thought it would be fun to have everyone ID mine although probably not much of a challenge for the experts.  Now it's just count down till spring so I can plant some of them.
