Now that I have one of these palms, can anyone tell me a bit about them or produce a picture?

Thanks

Bruno posted photo on the old board from his friend Albert's nursery of a larger plant.  It was very unique looking.  I'll try to dig up the old photo sometime.

Thanks Dave! I got it from Jerry but I could not find that pic on his website. Very nice. I'm stoked.

Matt in SD - if you can drum up that pic from Bruno's post that would be great. Like to see another shot of it.

Thanks for posting that pic Dave. I got one from Jerry as well and someone tried to tell me that it was the same as Dypsis Decipiens. That is NO Decipiens! Steve

I have seen the large palm at Alfred's nursery, just recently this past April. I was impressed! We all have no clue to what it is. And yes.....it ain't no Dypsis decipiens. So lets quash this potential rumor before it gets started.

Dypsis betafaka?

Is that the real name?  (Snicker!  Snort!)  :P

In any case, that IS a super pretty palm.  I hope it will grow here, and on it goes to my Wish List, to trade some of my stuff for . . . .

D. betafaka and the Death Camp has a nice ring to it.
