No g in the name , correct spelling is L. drudei .

It grows locally around here and I thought it would be fairly tender , its grown very well for you, well done .

Livistona drudei has proven to be a very hardy palm in parts of Central and North Florida. 22F doesn't burn it much, if at all.

They are also relatively hardy here in So-Cal, though they'll never get sorely tested at my dive.

I suspect they'll take the low twenties F.

This one has only been subjected to 21F on a couple of occaisions. The foliage burns off most winters.  I dont know of any others around in North Florida

I have an L. drudei, but this will be its first winter in the ground.  I got it from Matt E. I don't recall offhand if he has any larger specimens at his place.  He does have some very large L. decora and L. saribus though.
