I'm taking measures to try and scoot down to San Diego for this! Hopefully everything will work out and I'll be able to make it! I'll know more by Wednesday for sure! What time is the photo op at the juby grove? I could be down for that also!

-eric

Do make it if you can.

Those gardens rock, especially the Wrights'. There's nothing to top Rhopie canopy . . .

Dave,

What's an appropriate time for regular Joes to show up, so as not to interrupt the board meeting?

Any time you want!

Trust me, the Wright's garden will blow your mind, it'll take a while to tarry there.

Just get there, see it, and say howdy . . . .

BS Man,

First of all, your profile is out of control! Really digging the "Ranch Hands!" You're the Man! First I heard the photo was at the Jubaea Grove at 10:45am just before the first meeting, now it's in between tours? Doesn't leave a lot of time for lunch, especially for those of us who prefer to spend our Saturday's washing down a tasty lunch with a frosty cold beverage. I'm all about maximizing time in between the two tours so I can enjoy what should be a beautiful saturday!

I say we stick to the original plan of 10:45, even though I'm driving some 90 miles to get there! Tell everybody else to step it up, and put their game faces on! No excuses! Fins!

Eric- The reason for the "in- between" is several Palm-talkers will be AT the board meeting at 10:45am. since it is a maximum 5 min drive between the 2 yards and the area is almost littered with places to eat nearby, it should not be a problem. PLUS, since the remainder of the day is at the 2nd garden, its OK to be a bit late there due to lunch. :D

So, early to Jims, photo op in-between, then Lelands for the rest and auction! You can do it Eric!!

PS- Thanks for the props. You got ranking Ranch Hands there too I see!

PPS- Reread close. There never was a plan for a 10:45am photo...

Also- not sure if it will work or not, but stumbled into a gourmet burger place a couple miles north of Jims today that was killer!

It was called "Boomerang's". GREAT custom burgers (choose your ingredients mixed INTO the burger. AWESOME! But custom means slower.... :(

Not sure if it's ok to add in this thread, but I've got 2 bags with 50 seeds of Cham. Glaucifolia and a dozen Cham. Radicals tree form seeds.... just picked them today. I'd be happy to bring them to the meeting if someone wants them.... I don't have much luck with seed germination....

The regular meeting begins at 10:00 am,

not 11:00 as noted in the first post of this thread.

Who you gonna believe, Dave, or the web site? It would be unfortunate if people don't have enough time to see everything. It's not a huge garden but there is a lot to see.
