Thanks. I was thinking that would be something I could tweak in my personal settings, but I couldn't find it. Was right in front of me all the time. :o

IMHO if CLASSIC BLUE had been used as the default setting the transition would have gone much smoother.

There would have been a lot less opinions, suggestions, and disscussion about color, and hard to read script! :)

Seems all the new improvements are still there, even displaying the forum in Classic Blue!

Thanks for making it available in that format!

So you would have preferred closing the forum for 2,3,4 days? I have a feeling you would have complained about that too. But I'm used to it.

It took time and work after the upgrade to perform the necessary testing, tweaking, and experimenting to even find out if the old Classic Blue Skin could be used successfully with our new version. Those who were trying to use it were reporting problems and bugs. I was pretty happy to be able to make it available for use in only two days. There still may be a glitch or two. But I've been using it all day and it appears to be working pretty good.

Sorry that upgrade couldn't have gone smoother for you.

Note: Many prefer the newer version. That is why we will allow the user to choose. And you can switch back and forth as often as you like until you decide. We may be playing around with some improvements still. It appears as if the Classic Blue fonts are still the same small size as the new skin, along with a few other things. It's not exactly the same as the old Classic Blue.

Thanks Dean. Glad I could use the old one too. The new one was just to hard on the eyes and was hard to figure out with ease what was new, had been read, etc..

I wonder how many users are going 'classic' and how many are using the new skin? I've tried both several times. I like the classic colors, but prefer the uncluttered layout of the new skin. (The labels and print seem misaligned on the classic version.) After using the new one for a few days and learning my way around, it's very comfortable.

I've grown to like the cleanliness of the new version as well. Right now I'm in Lo-Fi version just to try it out, and it is really simplistic, perfect if you have a slow connection. Some of the hotels I stay in have crummy internet, so I go Lo.

Garrin,

Actually on any page in the bottom left hand corner you will find a drop down menu that will have three options for three different "looks" (skins) for the forum.

Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.

Garrin,

It is actually on any page on the site.

Scroll all the way down on any page and at the bottom left hand corner, you will see a box that says IP.Board ,with a little downward pointing arrow. Click on that arrow and it will give you 2 other options IP.BOARD LO-FI and Classic Blue.

If you click on Classic Blue you can view the forum much the same as in it's previous look!
