Jungle music has P. utilis and P. furcatus for sure. I get poked evertime I walk by them. P. furcatus is less spiny (half the spines on the leaf margins and none on the midrib) and supposedly more cold hardy.

The large ones I have seen in gardens around here are. These ones for sale are grown full sun too.

I planted one too close to my pool. You can have it for free if you do the digging. It's 5 ft + tall and has 6 inches of trunk. PM me if interested.

I would hit up Terry. If not, then Woodland is where I got mine. I planted the 24" box in March and it's already growing and too big.
