Hello Kev. Yes! The pics are greath! Of course will give the credit.- The journalist was surprised to know they can grow in UK, Holland or Skandinavia.-  How is your Trithrinax palm doing since planted?

This wesnesday im guiding them to the western mountain where are native.- Will try to ask for a copy when available.-

Thanks

Kev- your "little" one??? That one is a bit bigger than  my little one. Mine is a tiny one gallon sized plant. That one you call  little is a huge momma one compared to mine.

Gaston- I am glad you are involved with this. The more people who know about the natives the better.

Hi Gaston

My palm seems to have grown a little at the crown I seem to be able to make out new white spines emerging with some nice blue leaves.

I did actually mark the leaves and the marks have now moved into the head of the palm but cannot find them without physical injury (not a palm to mess with)

I have lost maybe 3 leaves that browned off and fell down out the main head but this was no surprise to me after translanting.

We, as you know, have quite a few of these palms in the UK and they are rock hard as low temps are concerned but some seem to take awhile before they take off maybe a couple of years.

I however have watered my palm quite a lot this year plus a good few doses of palmbooster plus a not too bad set of roots I am hoping to not have to wait any length of time before good growth.

Zac best of luck with your tiddler I too have many growing from seed.............2 years a couple of blades of grass. :(

Gaston,

I don't know if it was you are someone else, but a year or two ago, someone posted photos of Trithrinax c. in habitat that were going to be lost due to development.  Real sad.  It's nice to see that some trunks made it out to a safer environment as opposed to being mowed to the ground.

Hi Kev.

Thanks for the pics. I give the credit to the journalist, the UK oasis, IPS etc.

.- Firstly they didnt belive they grow in UK, after see the pics they were surprised.- The guide was fine, they have take many palms screens, however i dont know when the program  will be available for the TV.- The one guy toldme they keep the "movie" later edit it and take some time and the TV company decide when to show it.-

Certainly Nigel, i know that old friend, it seems more happy now that in the mountain and your effort make it possible.-
